Simon narrowly escapes banging his nose on the floor as Mistress pushes him forward. He picks himself back up into a kneeling position, and sees that Mistress has his collar in her hand. She threads it around his neck, fastening the buckle and arranging it so the rope hangs in the front.

Only then does the adrenaline wash over him. Dungeon. Oh Christ, she is taking him to the dungeon. What has he agreed to?

“Come on,” she says cheerfully, as if this is a perfectly normal situation to be in. Simon scrabbles to his feet. As he stands, he has the presence of mind to grab a towel to wrap around his waist. At least he won’t be paraded through the house naked.

She leads him out of the room and down the stairs. One floor down, a door is open. Behind a desk, Master Richard reclines in a chair. His hair is loose, and his shirt unbuttoned. His lip is split open, bleeding. Alannah stops.

“Good session?”

“Very satisfactory, thank you. Tight and wet in all the right places.”

“Looks like she put up quite a fight?”

He smiles, and licks the blood from his lip. “This? Yes, she was quite feisty. But you should see the other girl.”

“Oh dear, poor Sarah. Anything needing medical attention?”

“No, I don’t think so. Nothing a little ice won’t fix.”

“Glad to hear it.”

“Is your gift behaving himself?” Richard’s eyes freeze into Simon just long enough to ignite terror.

“He’s doing all right… so far. For a beginner.”

“Well, if you want any help breaking him in, I’d be happy to oblige.” Simon’s blood runs cold at the suggestion.

“Oh, Richard, so soon? It can’t have been such a good session if you’re already craving the next one.”

“I’m a professional. I can be ready. Just give me an hour…” he glances down at his crotch, then shakes his head. “… fine, maybe two.” She laughs, but Simon isn’t finding this funny at all.

“Is the dungeon free? Everything cleaned up?”

“Yes, it should be. She ought to be finished by now.”

“Good. Our turn then. See you later my love.”

“Have fun.”
